Taxes and additional costs when buying real estate in Thailand?

The tax on the acquisition of real estate in Thailand is paid only once upon the registration of the transaction in the land department. The fee is 1.1% of the contract value of the apartment purchased at Leasehold - the buyer shares it in half with the developer. Thus, in the end it will be necessary to pay only 0.55% of the tax.
